Throwback Thursday: Steve Jobs introduces the first iPhone.

Remember when Steve Jobs introduced the first iPhone? That was seven years ago, today – January 9, 2007.

We were able to get a hold of a first generation iPhone. And after a few minutes of charging, we weren’t too surprised to see it power up and work just fine!

Personal phone preferences aside, the iPhone revolutionized the way we communicate and redefined the meaning of “all-in-one” devices. Today, we use the iPhone and iPad to run our YesVideo mobile app – allowing us to watch home movies at any time!

We tip our caps to  Apple Inc. and the late Steve Jobs for setting the new bar in technology with this device. Flash back seven years; here is a video of Steve Jobs’ keynote presentation at Macworld 2007 unveiling the first iPhone.

Do you still have any of your old cellphones? Which was your favorite?

  1. We had a car phone in a bag in the early 90s. It was huge and required an enormous antenna. Once you have that kind of connectivity, it’s hard to go without! I think one of my favorite cell phones was the clamshell in the early 2000s. No accidental calls.
