Adriana, YesVideo Production Crew – Order Entry
“When I first met Adriana, I was nervous to talk to her because she was always so focused when doing her orders. Fast forward several months, and now we talk everyday and share some of best laughs from random conversations or some silly joke. I honestly can’t imagine working here and not having her sit next to me.”
– Alex, YesVideo Production Crew
How long have you been with YesVideo?
9 months, and counting.
And tell us a little bit about what you do.
I work Order Entry in the film department. Basically, when you send in your film reels, I check to make sure your order is correct, enter it into our system, and get it sorted before it begins the transfer process.
What would you say to someone who is just starting to learn about YesVideo?
Cherish your memories, and I mean that in a basic sense. Time flies by so quickly and you never know what you’ll forget or remember over time.
Since working here, I’ve been so surprised by how much things (technology, cars, clothes) have changed from the 1930’s to now – especially since it was a time since before I was born and will never experience. The film reels themselves are so out of date that I’m surprised people have them at all. Same with VHS tapes, with all the technology we have now from iPhone’s to digital cameras, it’s funny to see people send in footage that require old school devices. But yeah, cherish your memories.
What would people be surprised to find out about you?
I sew! I took sewing classes for 4 years and actually find it very relaxing. It’s not just a hobby: I altered my bridesmaid dresses for my wedding, make sweaters/pajamas for my son all the time, and fix blankets and throw pillows. Give me a sewing machine and I can do anything!
Is there anything that inspires you?
My son. Life can be so hard sometimes where personal struggles and stress of life just get to me, but my baby makes me want to keep on pushing through. He makes me want to be a better person, a better mother, and a better friend.
Share with us your life philosophy?
Live day by day and make sure to enjoy every moment with family and friends. Life is short.
What is your favorite type of cuisine and/or dish?
OMG I just love food in general. I love barbeque, barbeque is so good. I went to Mississippi and Missouri one summer to visit my grandmother and literally ate barbeque, with all the sides, the entire time. It was the best food trip I’ve had.
Thanks for all your hard work and being such a friendly addition to the YesVideo family, Adriana!
